Zandra Rhodes to show at Paris Fashion Week
Zandra Rhodes is heading to Paris Fashion Week this season to present a retrospective of her most iconic pieces. The British fashion legend will showcase signature designs from her archives by opening PFW's On|Off schedule on Wednesday 29th February. The presentation marks the first time Rhodes has showed in Paris since 2007.
"Since On|Off approached me, I've been hunting out and going through all my storage boxes to find the key garments and looks that I have designed over the last four decades," she told Vogue UK . "I knew a month ago that it was happening but kept pushing it to the back of my mind with fright. Now it's upon me and I can't run away!"
Rhodes will display some of her most famous pieces with looks that comprise of "ethnic chiffon with feathers," the Indian collection complete with jewelled bindies, plus more. She will also unveil some new garments which include a new print to be featured on the goodie bags for guests.
"Paris is the ultimate place to show," she added. "I am very nervous, but I'm excited about showing all the varied looks that I have invented."
