If you haven't noticed, we're big fans of Stella McCartney here at Catwalkqueen. As we revealed back in November, we're super excited that she's set to show at London Fashion Week this month and we've already taken a sneaky peek at her pre-fall 2012 collection, so when we were invited to Westfield Stratford City last week for a first look at another one of her ventures, 'adidas My2012', we couldn't refuse. I popped along to the event with the lovely Tala from myfashdiary.com.

As well as designing the official uniforms for team GB, Stella has produced this limited edition range, which aims to capture the energy and celebrations around the Olympic Games which are being held in London in the summer of 2012. The collection consists of two-tone performance leggings, pants, bright enigmatic running tanks and water resistant sports jackets as well as more trend-led designs, including a grey marl sweat dress with brightly coloured printed panels, hoodies with collegiate style graphics, navy detail and vibrant yellow track shorts.

With sport luxe being a headline trend for the upcoming season, this collection stylishly blurs the lines between ultra-practical sportswear and fashion focused sport inspired pieces. Stella said, 'The concept behind this particular collection with adidas was to project the energy of the Olympic year and to inspire young women to engage in sports and events surrounding the Olympics and we see this collection as a wonderful way to mark this very special occasion.'

For a unique and interesting campaign, Stella personally chose 12 young creative women, from artists to musicians and even film makers, to become the faces of the campaign to represent the diversity and style of young British women. Check out some of their pictures and the range in action below. adidas My2012 launched officially back in January and is available nationwide and online.
