Backstage at Todd Lynn, we soon spotted a figure-hugging, on-the-knee dress in black and burgundy leather with built-in shoulder-length gloves. Instantly we knew this would be a stand-out piece. It turned out to be the show closer; that all-important final piece that summed up the collection and left those watching with something to remember.

Todd Lynn's trademark is tailoring, and this is definitely where he excels. Dresses with sharp stand-up collars, those leather pieces at the end of the show, and a sexy teal trouser suit with crossover detail at the waist were highlights of his Autumn Winter show.

Though the show had a dark feel, pops of colour came from teal and burnt orange (on a draped dress) and plenty of old gold in a narrow piped texture that ran down pencil skirts, jacket sleeves and trousers, as well as one very heavy looking dress.

Shoes - little slouched booties in the collection's colour palette - were by Christian Louboutin, with the edgy, heavily-gelled hair by Toni & Guy and smoky make-up by Maybelline. See the show for yourself below.
