The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection's star-studded show hits Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week officially kicked off last night with the Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection Fashion Show, a chance for celebs to take to the catwalk for a good cause.
The event has been taking place at NYFW since 2003, when US-based designers first partnered with The Heart Truth (an initiative that aims make women more aware of the danger of heart disease) to create a range of very special red dresses to raise awareness of the campaign.

This year the likes of Diane Von Furstenberg, Pamela Rolland, Marchesa, Alberta Ferretti and Jason Wu created gowns for a plethora of stars to wear. Taking a turn on the catwalk alongside the above ladies were the likes of Chaka Khan, Jenna Elfman, Minka Kelly and Gloria Estefan.
Our favourite was Rose McGowan, who dramatically stalked down the runway in a slit-to-the-thigh Roberto Cavallli number with silver peep toe heels.
