Day three of London Fashion Week and the morning continued with Nicole Farhi's show at the Royal Courts of Justice - a spectacularly grand venue to showcase her beautiful AW12 collection. With Anna Wintour and Bill Nighy sitting in the front row, it was sure to be an atmospheric show!

As the models made their way down the beautiful marbled floors in grey suede shoes, all eyes were fixed on the perfect coats that appeared at the end of the hall. Luxuriously tailored and accessorized with leather gloves and belts, the coats set the standard for the rest of the show with their strong shaping and masculine edge - even the makeup presented a stunning contrast of femininity and masculinity, with models sporting berry lips and slicked back, wet look hair.

There was sensibility of length in the hemlines, sleeves and gloves, waists were nipped with skinny belts in black and tan respectably, and minimal silk shirts were masterfully tucked into separates. The colour story was muted and metallic, featuring grey, bronze, mustard yellow, copper and gold glistening in the light. Shards of sequins were used to embellish skirts, coats and dresses, and the shimmering details didn't stop there, with expressive metal prints and paillette detailing scattered across the collection.

Our favourite outfits included a gold paillette knee length skirt with mustard silk shirt, grey tights and matching suede shoes. One thing's for sure, we're pleading guilty for loving Nicole Farhi!
