Kate Middleton flies solo in tweed Jesire at the National Portrait Gallery
Spotted all by her lonesome at the National Portrait Gallery was one Duchess of Cambridge. Kate Middleton made her first public appearance minus her husband Prince William (who is currently deployed with the RAF in the Falklands) at the National Portrait Gallery for a private viewing of Lucien Freud's work.
For an occasion in which she flew solo, Kate chose a grey tweed coat dress by Jesire. The design, which featured a flared skirt,a folded shawl neckline that covered her shoulders and an ornate belt, ensured the young royal looked ultra chic. To accessorise the dress, she wore a pair of black Jimmy Choo court shoes, a black clutch and bravely opted for bare legs - what a trooper in this cold weather!
