Kanye West to return to Paris Fashion Week
Despite receiving mixed reviews last season when he debuted his his womenswear show in Paris, Kanye West is looking to have a second go. The hip hop artist has announced he will show his line on March 6th during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week schedule.
His eponymous collection may have left some, including Cathy Horyn, feeling lukewarm last season however this hasn't deterred Kanye from having another crack. His addition to the PFW line-up will see him "on the sidelines of the official calendar established by the Chambre Syndicale," French fashion's governing body. A venue is still yet to be determined.
The news arrives on the back of reports that West planned to move to London to work on his fashion projects. British newspapers recently reported that the rap mogul was looking to set up a studio in London to have better access to his advisers at Central Saint Martins.
"He went home for the holidays but was proclaiming that he is now based in the capital and would return in early January," a source told the newspaper at the time. "He's close to the lecturers and students at the Central Saint Martins College and being in London means he can stop by for advice any time."
