The final show closing day three of London Fashion Week yesterday was effortlessly cool brand founded in Stockholm, Acne. Always one for the fashion forward crowd seeking inspiration in the form of the new, modern and boundary pushing but ultimately wearable clothing; something we have come to expect from the well respected label.

"Fashion is the best form of self-expression. We like to design pieces that together form the coolest wardrobe, but is ultimately wearable. It becomes one way of thinking as individual pieces, but together creates a strong, modern and considered statement." explains Jonny Johansson, Acne's Creative Director.

The collection moves on succinctly from last season, which similarly to yesterdays offering was packed full of Acne's signature trademarks including billowing simplistic shapes, creative lines and draped silhouettes. The Autumn Winter 2012 offering built upon this in the form of both structure and texture. Leather was the predominant material on show in the form of dark red midi length skirts, sleek dresses, full length trench coats and masculine tailoring. Similarly to Topshop Unique that we saw earlier yesterday, there was a definite military influence visualized in camo patterns, khaki dungaree styles, studding and utility style over-sized shirts. Outerwear took the form of large cocoon style coats styled with over-sized grab bags and many looks were completed with military style hats with loosly pulled back hair.

Overall a sleek collection which appears to be a real step forward for the well established brand. Check it out for yourself in the video below.
