It is easy to get lost in the prints and artistic images in the Shawlux Spring/Summer 2012 lookbook. I was sent their lovely Checkered Picnic scarf for review and it's even prettier than the picture above. Also, luxuriously soft. All Shawlux scarves are crafted of the highest grades of cashmere, silk and wool from a diverse group of artists hailing from India and Kashmir.

The other thing that strikes me so much about the collection is how versatile the pieces are. A scarf will look completely different depending how you wear it. A whole new pattern emerges when scarves are draped or wrapped a new way. A landscape can become an abstract with a twist.

Like the 5th Avenue Scarf, at top above, which is part of our giveaway! Shawlux will be gifting one lucky reader with the 5th Avenue and Starry Night (above at bottom) scarves this week! (I'm super jelz of the Starry Night winner, I'm crushing on that one!) To enter, like both the Catwalk Queen and Shawlux Facebook pages, and leave a message on the Shawlux FB wall saying you saw their scarves on Catwalk Queen. A winner will be contacted by Shawlux on Friday, January 13th through Facebook (be sure to check your "other" messages folder!). If the winner doesn't claim their prize within a week another winner will be chosen. Open to residents of North America and the United Kingdom.
