A couple of months ago I posted a behind-the-scenes look at the latest Kate Winslet for St. John Spring 2012 campaign. Now I've gotten my mitts on the actual campaign photos as well as a video of Kate talking up the collection which she describes as "very light and very fresh."

Photographed by Craig McDean, the beautiful ads utilises natural light to show off the clothes from their best angle. Pieces include a gorgeous comfy-looking peach knitted jumper, a silky white maxi, a charcoal belted wrap dress and python clutch.

"What I love is that the lines are a lot more relaxed and yet at the same time they still give shape. So you still those lovely feminine curves which to me are very important," added Winslet.

"You don't have to be a size 2 or 4 to be able to wear these garments because they fall so well. They are cut for women with a shape and of course I love that. That is me all over."

In addition to her love of the label's flattuering designs, Kate says her favourite look was the soft white jacket and pale grey trousers with pleats. Check out a video from the making of the campaign below.
