Alice Dellal talks here about working with Karl Lagerfeld on the Chanel handbag campaign. It's no surprise that as a newly minted Chanel girl Dellal waxes poetical about working with Karl and how cool he is. It's much more interesting, I think, to hear how she talks about how Chanel fits into her personal style, which is decidedly a little more edgy than the house is known for. She talks about how she chose a bag to keep from the shoot and how it fits her style. It's a good lesson in how you can incorporate unexpected items into your wardrobe, or items that might not be "typically you." It's great to have a signature style and know what you gravitate towards, but you also have to branch out once in a while.
