Rosie Huntington-Whiteley lands Harper's Bazaar's 'Body Issue'
For the woman who lent her figure for Burberry's Body fragrance campaign, it makes sense to put her on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's 'Body Issue'. That woman is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who has landed not one but two covers for the physique-focused January issue of the British glossy.
However as enviable as Rosie's body may seem to most of us, it wasn't always such a smooth ride for the 24-year-old. After she moved from Devon to the US, she encountered a constant stream of criticism from within the industry.
"All I kept hearing was 'Honey, you gotta change this; your hair's this; your legs are that; you're not enough this; you're not enough that; you're too much this; why are you wearing that,'" she tells the magazine. "And so it was a constant stream of judgement."
"I have a different feeling when I come back to England; as soon as I touch down in Heathrow and drive into London and down to Devon, there's a sense of home and belonging. I will never feel that in America, it doesn't matter how long I live there - and I've come to terms with that. I really am so proud to be British."
You can take the girl out of Devon...
