New campaigns: Adriana Lima for DKNY, Naomi Campbell for Pinko & Gisele Bundchen for Versace SS12
A few of modelling's biggest stars are doing what they do best in the latest wave of Spring/Summer 2012 ad campaigns. After working with Pinko a few years ago, Naomi Campbell has returned to front their new campaign which is very sharp and bold. The 41-year-old looks incredible with long dead-straight locks, a pair of wide strappy sandals and a pleated maxi dress which she appears to be modelling to its fullest potential.
Victoria's Secret Angel, Adriana Lima has also landed herself a big campaign as the face of DKNY. Strongly influenced by her time spent in Haiti, Donna Karan fused the vibrant spirit of Haiti with the cosmopolitan culture of New York within this latest campaign. She also hopes to draw attention to the earthquake-devastated country which she feels very passionately about.
Of working with Lima, Karan said: "I have never used her before, and I am totally in love with her. She shows the heart and soul of Haiti."
Never far from her work in front of the lens, Gisele Bundchen stars in a colourful campaign to promote Versace's SS12 collection. Captured by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the ads was shot in the Sonoran desert of Borrego Springs, California. Gisele is joined by Ryan Barrett in lapping up the hot summer sun for the campaign distinct for its blue light. Although I'm not too sure about entering a pool in a tight studded skirt, bustier and giant platform sandals!
