Take hints from Pippa Middleton's party planning book
It would be fair to say that, just like her big sister Kate, Pippa Middleton has done pretty well out of the Royal Wedding Machine. Now the famous sibling is reportedly set to sign a £400,000 book deal dispensing party planning advice.
The 28-year-old is said to have accepted a lucrative offer from publisher Michael Joseph (a division of Penguin), to write a book about how to be the perfect party hostess. Pippa already writes an online newsletter as part of her family's party business, Party Pieces. With her star soaring it seems a book may be the next best step for Pip, after publishing houses went into a bidding war over who would sign her on the dotted line.
"There were some serious offers, but Penguin stumped up the most cash. It will be about entertaining and how to throw the perfect party. It's not just about being the perfect hostess - it will also include recipes and information about how to host different types of events," a source said.
They also added: "Pippa has been sketching out the chapters and has decided to start each one with an amusing anecdote."
Hmm... One could only wonder what the funny anecdote may be, and whether it will involve big sister Kate. I suppose the real question is - who would buy a party planning book by Pippa? Would it be you?
