On set with the "Supers" in Duran Duran's new music video
Here is your first real look at the new music video from Duran Duran which stars some of our favourite all-time supermodels. For their song Girl Panic! the Eighties pop icons have recruited a string of "supers" including Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova and Simon Le Bon's missus Yasmin Le Bon.
Each model features in the music video as a replacement for the actual band members, in a way that "recreates a day-in-the-life of the band," according to keyboard player, Nick Rhodes.
Apparently a day-in-the-life for Duran Duran is meant to include girls wearing bondage clothing, waking up in a strange hotel room, playing gigs, giving interviews and other sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll type of living.
"We have made some pretty ambitious videos over the years, but this one was certainly the most challenging to date," says Simon. Check out a behind-the-scenes video documenting the collaboration with Swarovski Elements above.
