For those of you (us included!) who were speculating over whether Tom Ford would be the next H&M designer the answer is - nope! Following on from the huge success of Lanvin and Versace for H&M comes a new collaboration with Marni.

The Swedish retailer has announced that it has partnered with the Italian label's founder Consuelo Castiglioni to create a Spring collection. The range is set to land in 260 stores worldwide and online on March 8th. A first look at the collection is already available via the video above. From what I can see so far there are lots of bold coloured prints and clashing patterns to look forward to.

"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," Castiglioni said. "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements."

A womenswear and menswear range will be unveiled, with the womenswear collection featuring full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits. Aimed at the younger generation, the collection is expected to appeal to a wider audience who love to mix their prints.
