Last night London's Sanctum Soho Hotel became 'Hotel InStyle' for the night when it was taken over by the magazine for Film InStyle in associated with Land Rover, a party to celebrate ten years of InStyle UK, and also the premiere of a series of short films created by top fashion talent; Mulberry by Emma Hill, Christian Louboutin, Diane VonFurstenberg, Henry Holland, Roberto Cavalli, Zac Posen and Paul Smith.

We were invited to the event by Land Rover (who ferried celebs to the event in shiny new Range Rover Evoques). The whole hotel was taken over for the night, and when we weren't sipping champers in the bar, we were watching the videos while munching on popcorn and pick 'n' mix in the gorgeous basement screening room.

It was a fashion-filled evening with plenty of people-spotting opportunities. Celebs in attendance included Gillian Anderson, Nicola Roberts, Pixie Geldof, Diana Vickers, Natalie Tena, Russell Tovey, Jameela Jamil, Gizzi Erskine, Tolula Adeyemi, Brix Smith-Start, Nat Weller, Grace Woodward, Tali Lennox, Dionne Bromfield, Millie 'Made in Chelsea' Mackintosh, and perhaps most excitingly, the X Factor girls.

You might scoff at wannabe popstars being guest of honour at a fashion party, but girlband Little Mix were particularly popular - Henry Holland may have been there to celebrate his (super-cool) vid, but he was more excited about getting a pic of him with the girls, tweeted with the quote "Life. Made."

You can also view the designers' short films on InStyle's website. It was hard to pick a favourite (we loved DVF's explanation as to why she always smiles, and Christian Louboutin's dreamy film starring the adorable young actress Anamaria Vartolomei) but we have to go with the quirky Mulberry vid for sheer effort (and an appearance by Natalie 'Tonks' Tena).
