Riccardo Tisci sent a surprisingly wearable collection down the runway for Givenchy, without sacrificing the house's flair for the fantastic. He was inspired by mermaids and surfers, but these pieces were much more chic and luxe than those two ideas imply. Think sexy sea creatures if anything - not nautical. The collection was heavy on suiting - jackets paired with second-skin pants that explain the surfer inspiration when you think wet suits and not bikinis. Tisci stuck with a white and neutral color palette that fit the streamlined and somewhat sculptural designs.
