Doo-Ri-Chung-for-Macys-sketch.jpgLast week I was telling you about Giambattista Valli for Macy's, this week it's Doo-Ri Chung who is set to design for the retailer.

She will launch the Doo-Ri for Impulse collection for only eight weeks across Macy's 225 stores and online. She is the fifth designer to collaborate with the company, following on from Kinder Aggugini, Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld, and Giambattista Valli whose collection will launch next week.

"The customer is very different from whom we've catered to before, but I really didn't have to adapt. Macy's wanted to keep the design level high. I didn't feel the challenge was very different," Chung told WWD.

Pieces include "detailed knitwear" and "art-inspired prints," as well as trenchcoats, leggings, blouses, short and maxi dresses. Prices on the collection range from $39 to $159.
