Kate_Middleton_Canada_8.jpgIt was bound to happen at some point, but could it be occurring sooner than we think? Rumours are buzzing that Kate Middleton could be about to land her very own cover for US Vogue.

Whispers claim that Anna Wintour has asked Mario Testino to use his royal connections to persuade the Duchess of Cambridge to be photographed for the cover. Testino has a long relationship with the royal family, he has photographed Princess Diana and captured Kate and Prince William for their engagement photos.

"Anna has been speaking to Mario about winning over Kate. She is really pressing him to shoot Kate for the cover," the New York Post reports. While another source revealed, "every magazine has been trying to get Kate, and many assume it will eventually be Vogue. But even with the Mario Testino relationship, it is not clear when this will happen. The Palace must approve it, and they are very protective of Kate."

Prior to her wedding, Kate was approached by Alexandra Shulman to appear on British Vogue, but she declined the offer. It remains to be seen if she will be swayed by Wintour.
