New York Fashion Week Spring 2012: Libertine
Libertine has been one of my favorite shows of fashion week, and it's a good thing since they made us treck all the way down to Exit Art for the show. The show was all black and white with some silver and metallic accents, but done in a fresh, modern way. There were elements of the painterly prints we've been seeing for a few seasons and a slightly messy, purposefully unfinished feel. That's not to say the clothes seemed sloppy, because they didn't. It still managed to be a put-together look, just less stuffy than some.
I'm also dying to DIY some of the black tights that have white lines painted on them. For pics of those and more of the pieces, keep reading!
