Roberto Cavalli helped to close Milan Fashion Week yesterday with spangly and sparkly collection set against a black catwalk. Underneath a series of chandeliers, the designer didn't hold back on the embellishments with Twenties-style flapper gold sequin fringing, colourful suits with black piping, and clashing prints in every form including animal.

With an overkill of sequins and loud prints, it did start to border on a bit on the OTT side. However luckily Cavalli seemed to rein things back into line with some incredible floor-length chiffon gowns in various styles which he topped with simple blazers. Check out the show in the video above.
