Donatella Versace and Christopher Kane took their inspiration from American teenagers (much like Prada) for the Versus show, with cheerleader dresses, warm-up jackets and sporty touches evident throughout the collection. Even the floor was decked out to resemble a pastel coloured basketball court!

The colour scheme was a mix of ice-cream colours (lilac, aqua, baby pink) on black, with flippy slit skirts, big black zips and shiny fabrics never in short supply.
But don't worry if sporty is not your look. The dresses still managed to be pretty, and away from the setting, the inspiration seems a lot more subtle than you first think, especially where printed pieces are concerned.
