Monochrome with playful touches of colour was the order of the day at the David Koma spring summer 2012 show yesterday.

The show opened with models dressed in white sheer appliquéd dresses with leather panelling and fringing. Hints of colour in lemon yellow, turquoise and bright pink were then introduced, with the tail-end of the collection formed by beautifully tailored black dresses and separates with fringed leather belts that stole the show for their iridescent mirrored perspex detailing. Other dresses featured sequined panels and yet more perspex shapes that caught the spotlights that lined the runway.
