One word: Wow.

Without a doubt Giles' Spring Summer 2012 showcase was by far my favourite show of this season's London Fashion Week. It had it all; the drama, the stunning venue, the huge crowds, the celebrity front row and most importantly, the fashion.

The show opened with a series of high shine silver dresses with cut-out and fringing details. Then came the swan prints - monochrome printed dresses with splashes of blood red thrown in. As each model came out from behind the wall that resembled a giant cracked mirror, each dress became more dramatic and more detailed. The final pieces to grace the runway were borderline couture-esque floor-length feathered gowns and oversized feather swan head pieces in white, black and red.

Models walked the huge catwalk, hosted at the Royal Courts of Justice to a haunting soundtrack that coupled with the visual delights in front me made shivers run down my spine.

Quite simply, I felt privileged to be witness to such a beautiful collection of wonderful clothes and whatever I attempt to write here cannot do the show justice so make yourself a cup of tea, get comfortable and watch the video of the collection below. Trust me, it's worth it.
