Debuting his first collection for Pringle of Scotland was Alistair Carr on Monday morning. The designer was supported by Tilda Swinton, Anna Dello Russo, Irina Lazareanu, and Rosario Dawson who all sat in the front row, while Abbey Lee Kershaw opened the show.

The press release may have declared this "a landmark in signifying the new direction for Pringle," but Carr wasn't afraid to dip into the label's archives for his SS12 collection. There was a mixture of classic '60s knits, argyle prints, pencil skirts, shift dresses, and streamlined jackets. For a pop of colour, Carr added neon brights and primary colours in blocked sections. Following on from his début collection, he is set to launch a line of handbags in partnership with British artist Liam Gillick at Art Basel Miami in December. It seems like he's on a roll.
