Marks & Spencer appear to have backtracked on recent claims that they were ditching their all-star advertising campaigns. Instead they have hired Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Ryan Reynolds to be the faces of their autumn 2011 collection. The pair star in a new print campaign for the Autograph line which was photographed by BAFTA awards photographer Greg Williams at the St Pancras Grand, London. The range will be available from September 1.

Described as a "perfect fit" by the company, Rosie admits she was "extremely excited" to be involved in the campaign. "I feel proud to be associated with a British high street favourite that holds fond memories for so many people."

As for what Ryan thinks of the British high street retailer... "Going into an M&S store with my family or friends always gives me a beautiful pang of nostalgia. The Autograph collection is a modern take on the classic style I love and feel most comfortable wearing. The pieces in this collection are lasting staples that'll never go out of style," he said.
