Sorry peeps but those recent rumours that Primark is launching a transactional website are false! The budget retailer has denied reports that they have put out a tender for a digital agency to build its first e-commerce website next year. Despite expanding rapidly on the ground with 220 stores in Europe, a company spokesperson said it had no plans to launch a transactional site. This means it is still one of the big fashion players which doesn't sell goods online, instead focusing on high street sales.
