Linda Evangelista seeks $46,000 a month in child support
The dramas continue for Linda Evangelista who was back in court on Monday seeking $46,000 per month in child support. The supermodel explained she requires 24-hour nannies and armed guards for her son.
Evangelista, who gave birth to a son Augustin James by PPR boss Francois-Henri Pinault, is demanding around £28,000 in payments. If granted it would be "the largest support order in the history of the Family Court," the judge said.
Pinault is married to Salma Hayek, whom he also has a three-year-old daughter, Valentina. Evangelista fell pregnant to the fashion tycoon after he and Hayek briefly called off their engagement.
Lawyers for the model say that the billionaire spends a similar amount on his three year-old daughter, but has not yet contributed to his son's upbringing. "He's just been sitting back, paying zero," the lawyer said. Sounds like it's going to get ugly!
