Following on from my post yesterday on Bryce Dallas Howard fronting the Kate Spade A/W11 campaign, I am super excited to reveal that the label is coming to London! Deborah Lloyd, the British Chief Creative Officer of Kate Spade New York, has announced that the company is heading to the UK to open not one but two stores!

"As a Brit, I am thrilled to be opening in London," Lloyd told the Telegraph. "It feels, in many ways, like the perfect homecoming for me. The stores will be our first major presence in Europe and will be the gateway to the rest of the continent. We are in an amazing expansion mode right now, with openings around the world. I am eager to find out how the ever stylish London girls will work the pieces into their look."

A favourite on the Upper East Side of New York, Lloyd says it is the label's "unique sense of fun mixed with lady-like glamour," that will make it appealing to Londoners.

"We don't take ourselves too seriously and I think the Brits will appreciate that. We are also such a New York brand - so we'll bring a little bit of that spirit to London."

Kate Spade is the latest big American brand to make the move across the pond to London, following in the footsteps of Banana Republic and J.Crew. The two London stores are set to open in Sloane Square and Covent Garden next month. So keep your eyes peeled lovelies!
