It seems Marks & Spencer is about to head in a whole new direction. The high street giant has reportedly axed its star-studded campaigns which it has become famous for over the past five years. The retailer will drop the glamorous adverts which have featured a whole host of famous faces from Lizzy Jagger to Dannii Minogue, Myleene Klass and Laura Bailey.

But before you say, "what, no more Twiggy?!" it is believed that M&S will hang onto the '60s icon, Lisa Snowdon and Jamie Redknapp, who signed on last season. For the S/S 2011 campaign, the all-star cast modelled the latest collections in a '70s-inspired shoot in sunny Miami. Now it appears the glam TV ads will be a thing of the past, despite M&S keeping tight-lipped "for competitive reasons we don't comment on our future advertising plans." Hmm... I wonder what they have up their sleeve?
