Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen Bafta LA party.jpg

Yay, Kate Middleton has finally stepped onto the Hollywood red carpet! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a breathtaking entrance at the Bafta 'Brits to Watch' event overnight, held at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. Kate swapped her pretty printed Jenny Packham dress from the polo earlier in the day for a floor-length lilac chiffon gown by Alexander McQueen. Prince William also looked very dapper in a classic black tuxedo.

The dress was cinched in at the waist with a silver sparkly belt which matched her champagne-coloured Jimmy Choo 'Vamp' glitter sandals and metallic clutch also believed to be by Jimmy Choo. Catherine kept her hair down and curled (her signature look!) and added a pair of drop chandelier earrings. Tell us what do you think of her debut Hollywood red carpet style?
