Harajuku Mini logo.jpgGoshdarnit kids are fashionable these days. After spending waaay too much on a gift for friend's baby recently, it dawned on me that kids clothes aren't just as stylish (if not more) than adult clothes, they're also just as exxy. Luckily, Gwen Stefani has the answer - design a childrenswear line for Target.

Stefani has teamed up with the US retailer to create a Japanese anime-inspired line, named Harajuku Mini (totally brilliant!) The brand will be introduced on 13th November followed by a second wave in January, and will be based on Stefani's contemporary womenswear line, Harajuku Lovers.

With two cool kids herself, Kingston and Zuma, it makes sense that Gwen get started on something super stylin' for babes. "I've always wanted to do a cool children's fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid's clothing you find in Japan," she said. "Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid's clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices." The line will be priced from $3.99 to $29.99 and will be available for babies, children and tweens.
