Every Met Gala we see a parade of Stella McCartney traipse down the red carpet. Indeed, even McCartney herself makes an appearance, and this year was no different. Plenty of celebs turned to the British designer to help dress them for fashion's night of nights. The usual McCartney crew - Liv Tyler, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow were all in attendance. With a very pregnant Hudson sticking to her bohemian style, in a champagne-coloured gown and long tousled hair. While Liv opted for a white feathered strapless number with an ombre yellow hemline.
Madonna also made an appearance in a silky blue gown which screamed decadent by featuring glittery stars down the train. Her '50s hair and make-up also enhanced her golden Hollywood look. While Rihanna also chose to go with long sleeves (a popular trend at the Gala!) by wearing a one-shoulder black lace number and a long red fishtail plait.

Other McCartney fans included Maggie Gyllenhaal, who donned a sparkly floor-length navy blue dress. She looks so fresh and understated with simple makeup and a swept up 'do. Naomi Watts played up her feminine side in a sheer nude McCartney ball gown featuring gold embellishments.
