Also showing her support of Alexander McQueen's work was Alexa Chung, who attended the Met Gala overnight. As usual Alexa went against the grain of a long floaty gown, in favour of something short and sparkly from Christopher Kane. Albeit slightly see-through with the silver sequins, Chung compensated for showing the legs by covering up on top with a sheer high neckline. She paired her look with a Christopher Kane clutch and black heavy sandals.
