Karl Lagerfeld and Lady Gaga's Uniqlo T-shirts for Japanese Red Cross
Uniqlo is stepping up its fundraising efforts in the wake of the Japanese earthquake disaster. The retailer has joined forces with Condé Nast Japan to launch a range of 10 T-shirts to help benefit the Japanese Red Cross.
The initiative involves T-shirt designs from Karl Lagerfeld, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Alber Elbaz, Blake Lively, Nicole Kidman, plus more. The shirts go on sale worldwide on June 25, and are priced at £12.99 each. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be donated to the Red Cross and its mission to help Japan get back on its feet.
As we already reported, Uniqlo has already donated $25.6 million to the Japan relief appeal with CEO Tadashi Yanai personally donating $12 million of his own money. Find out more at http://savejapanproject.com
