John Galliano released from rehab; heckled at LAX airport
John Galliano may be just out of rehab, but it seems his woes are far from over. The designer was heckled by photographers as he made his way through LAX airport on Sunday, with one paparazzo shouting out "f****ing racist" as he passed by.
Galliano has spent the past few weeks at The Meadows rehab facility in Arizona, as he deals with the fall-out of the racist scandal which saw him fired as creative director at Christian Dior. It is unknown how long he plans to stay in Los Angeles before he is due to front court in Paris in June. Galliano will stand trial to face charges of 'public insults based on the origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity' against three people. If convicted, he could serve up to six months in prison. Galliano denies any wrong-doing, and issued a statement saying 'Anti-Semitism and racism have no part in our society. I unreservedly apologise for my behaviour in causing any offence.'
