Gwyneth Paltrow wants to 'get out of the fray' of the royal wedding
The latest issue of GOOP, Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle newsletter, tells royal watchers where to assemble their parade-route picnic. It also tells royal avoiders where to escape the mob scene. Apparently Gwynnie falls in the latter category.
"The royal wedding is upon us tomorrow, and if you are in town and want to get close to the action, we've listed the best places for picnic supplies, and also the best, closest parks," Gwyneth says in her routine intro to the newsletter. "If, like me, you're wanting to get out of the fray, we've also listed the best spots out of the wedding melee--many of them are some of the coolest new places in London."
She suggests watching the day's events from one of the screens set up in St. James Park, Green Park or Hyde Park and picking up your "bits" for a picnic at Nonna's, Daylesford Organic, The Natural Kitchen, Albion at Boundary or Ottolenghi. Then she lists no less than 19 places to eat, drink and shop "off the wedding path."
