Here is your first look at Kate Middleton on her wedding day to Prince William. After months of speculation it has been confirmed - Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen has designed the wedding dress.

Also as predicted, Kate has opted for a simple, classic style comprising of a sweetheart neckline with lace bodice overlay and long, lace sleeves. Nipped in at the waist, the gown is made from ivory silk gazar with the lace applique handmade by Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace. To complete her bridal outfit, Kate wears a long sheer veil fastened by a small pearl and diamond tiara which was once owned by the Queen Mother, and earrings by Robinson Pelham.

Her classic look has already drawn comparisons to Grace Kelly's wedding gown. What do you think of her choice?
