daphneguinness_hat.jpgWith a new CEO and Carine Roitfeld on board, Barneys is about to recruit another fashionista for their window display.

Daphne Guinness will also join Barneys to perform an art piece which will begin on 2nd May. The windows of Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship store will feature a series of looks curated from Guinness's extensive fashion archives, as well as iconic pieces from Isabella Blow's wardrobe.

The six-week project will also include a short film delving into her life. Passersby will also have a chance to see Daphne get dressed in an Alexander McQueen ensemble for the Met Costume Institute Gala in the windows at Barneys. The project is set to coincide with the opening of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the Met.
