From First Lady to film star, Carla Bruni is taking her first step into the world of acting. She is making her début in Woody Allen's new film, Midnight in Paris, which also stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.

It's based on "an American family travelling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better." Bruni appears to play some kind of art historian who tries to explain Rodin to Michael Sheen's character, but he doesn't want to listen. You can check her out in the trailer (the whole three seconds that she's in it) above.
