Unagro Fall 2011

We can all remember Emanuel Ungaro's infamous statement that he dresses mistresses, not wives and for the brand's fall collection, Giles Deacon took the idea and ran with it. While his debut collection was all about colour and feminine touches Deacon's fall offerings moved the Ungaro girl in a different direction - think Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy and you're almost there. The collection was lot more touch and edgy than last season and hair came in a severe slicked high pony tails.

The new sexed up feeling was made clear from the first look which featured a black all in one with lace detail across the chest and arms teamed with a statement choker that featured throughout. Skin tight black leather trousers came in different manifestations teamed with pieces like a black cropped top with bird motif layered over a black corset. Thick cable knit jumpers were styled with black velvet mini shorts and leather pockets featured on mini skirts.

Hemlines were mainly high but Deacon did offer a selection of seductive knee legnth styles as well as some more subdued and less sexy pieces like a beautifully draped dress in a gold, black and green print.
