Vivienne Westwood didn't disappoint on Friday evening as she showed her fall collection to a packed house - Boy George, Kanye West and Pam Hogg all sat front row - in the Pavillion Concorde venue in Paris.
The designer played with all of the key pieces that we expect from her but in interesting ways. The silhouette fluctuated from voluminous styles on casual dresses in shades of brown styled with long socks and heels, to a selection of ball gowns in dramatic styles. These included a black full skirt tulle dress with a huge brown bow detail.
Westwood also showed a selection of two-piece skirt suits that hugged the body creating a beautiful hourglass shape. The colour palette varied but on the whole, was typically autumnal featuring varying shades of mushroom, browns and camels but the designer also offered bright red tartan on socks and clutch bags. Gold appeared on heels and boots and covered the runway and for the finale, a model bride walked the runway with gold confetti falling from the ceiling.
