Paris Fashion Week A/W11: Dries Van Noten
You can always expect something different from Dries Van Noten. This season he took a liking to prints and completely ran with it. Dresses came with up to five different prints at a time coming in geometric shapes, bold graphic styles and Bonsai prints. Van Noten's charm lies in his ability to make something that on the surface is completely wrong, just work. A chunky black knit jumper came teamed a black and orange calf length skirt and gold trouser suits and tweed pieces all came with fur lapels.
Where the collection was very soft and feminine last season, for fall the Van Noten woman was a lot more assertive and self assured in her bold eye-catching prints.
