Emma Watson officially unveils 'Pure Threads' with Alberta Ferretti
After revealing a sneak peek of her collection with Alberta Ferretti to Vogue, Emma Watson has officially unveiled her new fashion project. According to WWD, the "green" collaboration, known as 'Pure Threads,' is the first step in a long-term vision to produce clothing from environmentally-friendly materials and techniques.
Comprised of five pieces - two dresses, a shirt, a long skirt, and a pair of denim shorts, the collection will be available exclusively online at albertaferretti.com. Part of the proceeds will go towards People Tree, a nonprofit organisation that Emma is also involved in.
"I believe this is a big step forward for all of the international fashion industry, but also an important step for an increased sensitivity to the problem of ecology," said the actress.
Prices range from €250 to €850, with the collection set to go on sale March 21.
