Wow what a show! From the rolling hills of Wyoming to the runways of New York, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez brought with them a colourful, richly textured collection that have many already calling it the collection of the season... so far. Reworking the idea of tribal blankets into a digitized, pixelated print, the pair deconstructed traditional ideas reworking them into modern pieces.

With a strong Western theme throughout, Proenza Schouler took this formula and applied them to a feminine-meets-masculine collection. Multicoloured jacquard was mixed with graphic harem-style trousers, tuxedo jackets, block coloured tops and coats, thin belts, heavy blanket-style jumpers, embroidered woollen skirts, and slouchy tunic tops. As for the evening wear... well, would you ever expect to see such '80s computer prints and colours on velvet and chiffon? But more importantly, would you dare to wear it? My answer is absolutely.
