Daisy Lowe walks for Vivienne Westwood Red Label A/W 2011
Royalty was on the mind of Vivienne Westwood when she created her Autumn 2011 collection for her Red Label. Although admitting that her latest creations had nothing to do with the upcoming royal nuptials, Westwood did reference Lewis Carroll's Red and White Queens from Alice Through the Looking Glass. Models, including Daisy Lowe, sported crowns as hats, head scarves and with hair rollers in a dishevelled, madcap look at the royal family.
The regal theme filtered down into the outfits which consisted of check and tartan suits, a feather cape, a blue and gold fleur-de-lis printed dress, black tuxedo suit and silk boxer shorts worn over knee-high socks.
"Boxer shorts is a tip. If I were a young girl, I think it's a wonderful look. And I really like tights on top of things, tights on top of boxer shorts," Westwood said of her new favourite item of clothing. Watch a video of the collection after the jump...
