Aminaka Wilmont is one of our firm favourite schedule fixtures at London Fashion Week but this season the show was slightly disappointing. Despite citing totemic tribes and primitivism as the source of inspiration, the references didn't really materialize in the collection. However, the shapes and interesting work with prints this season had us convinced. White and purple prints appeared on just about everything such as halter necks dresses and relaxed fit blouses teamed with short leather shorts. Jackets were another strong point from the collection, with the majority of them coming in asymmetric cuts mixed with Italian shearling and toscana.
