London Fashion Week A/W 2011: Krystof Strozyna
Only his second ever showing at London Fashion Week, Krystof Strozyna's show was greatly anticipated by the fash pack. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2007, the young new designer's Autumn Winter 2011 collection proved to be modern and unique.
Clever tailoring, structure and shape burst on the runway. Bold watercolour style prints were placed on satin shift dresses and blouses and we saw splashes of luminous pastels blocked against neutral hues. We loved Krystof's repeated inclusion of metal cuffs around the ankles and wrists throughout, giving the body an armoured feel.
We agree with pop princesses Kimberly Walsh and Diana Vickers who were sat front row admiring his designs - wonder if we'll spot them sporting one or two of his creations next season?
