The fashion crowd were out in full force on Wednesday night at the V&A's beautiful Raphael Gallery for the annual London College of Fashion MA show. With career launching potential, we expected some exciting fashion from the new graduates and were we dissappointed? No.

Menswear was in abundance, but the flashes of womenswear we were privy to were definitely on the right side of innovative. From out there structural shaping, to exquisite tailoring and simple minimalist style, the runway was awash with fresh talent. Our personal favourite was Jennifer Morris; her brave use of bold colour blocking and fringing made us want to place an order right there and then.

It was definitely a night for the boys though, with British Fashion Council chairman, Harrold Tillman, awarding Collection of the Year to Italian menswear designer to Matteo Molinari's offering; a unique fusion of modern tailoring and intricate handmade crochet.

So the future's looking bright for British fashion and, dare I say it, I wouldn't be surprised to find one or two of these names on the London Fashion Week schedule in the not so distant future.
